5. Why We Use Your Information

5.1 Waiting List and Launch Communications We use the information provided through the waiting-list form to register you on the Marisor waiting list, send the welcome email, provide information about early access, the launch and Founding Offer availability, and manage your registration and communication preferences. The legal basis is your request to join the waiting list and, where required, your consent. Joining the waiting list does not automatically constitute consent to receive unrelated promotional communications. Those communications are sent only where you have separately consented or where another lawful basis applies.

5.2 Marketing Communications If you choose to receive Marisor news, product launches, skincare stories and promotional offers, we process your name, email address, preferences and engagement information on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

5.3 Orders and Contracts We process personal data to accept and fulfil orders, process payments, deliver products, provide order confirmations and updates, manage returns, refunds and warranties, provide customer support, and maintain customer accounts. The legal basis is the performance of a contract with you or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

5.4 Legal and Regulatory Obligations We may process and retain information to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, cosmetics and product-safety obligations, respond to lawful requests from authorities, investigate complaints and serious undesirable effects, and prevent fraud, misuse or security incidents. The legal basis is compliance with our legal obligations.

5.5 Legitimate Business Interests Where permitted by law, we may process personal data for legitimate interests including protecting website security, preventing fraud, responding to enquiries and complaints, improving our website, products and customer experience, maintaining business records, and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

We consider whether these interests are proportionate and whether your interests or fundamental rights override them.

5.6 Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Essential cookies are used where necessary for the website and online store to function. Analytics, personalisation and advertising cookies are used only in accordance with applicable law and your cookie choices. Further details are provided in our Cookie Policy. You can change your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings available on the website.

6. Waiting-List and Marketing Consent

The waiting-list form contains two separate choices: a required confirmation that you wish to join the waiting list and receive communications directly related to that registration, and an optional consent to receive broader Marisor marketing and promotional communications.

We record the information necessary to demonstrate your choices, which may include the date, time, source, consent language and technical registration information.

7. Who Receives Your Information

We may share personal data only where necessary with selected service providers, including Wix, Klaviyo, payment-service providers, delivery companies, fulfilment partners, returns providers, professional advisers, cloud-hosting and security providers, analytics and advertising providers, customer-service providers, competent authorities, cosmetic Responsible Persons, safety assessors, manufacturers and laboratories. These recipients may act as processors operating on our instructions or as independent controllers, depending on their role and the circumstances. We do not sell personal data. We use Google reCAPTCHA to help protect our forms against spam and automated abuse. In doing so, Google may process technical information such as your IP address, device and browser information, subject to Google’s applicable privacy terms.

8. Cosmetic Responsible Persons and Product Safety

For compliance with applicable cosmetic-product and product-safety legislation, information relating to product complaints, undesirable effects or safety investigations may be shared with Marisor’s appointed Responsible Persons and relevant authorities.

9. International Data Transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Spain, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we use safeguards required by applicable law, which may include an adequacy decision, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, and supplementary contractual, organisational or technical protections.

Further information about applicable safeguards may be requested by contacting us.

10. How Long We Retain Information

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose.

Waiting-list information is retained until you withdraw, the waiting-list purpose ends or the information is no longer required. Marketing preferences are retained while you remain subscribed, followed by a limited suppression record to ensure that your opt-out is respected. Order, invoicing and accounting records are retained for the periods required under applicable tax and commercial law. Product-safety and adverse-effect records are retained for the period required by applicable cosmetic and product-safety laws.

Information may be retained for longer where necessary to comply with law, respond to an authority or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

11. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, request correction, request erasure, request restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, withdraw consent, request portability, object to direct marketing and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.

Individuals in other countries may also contact the data-protection authority responsible for their place of residence or work.

12. Automated Decision-Making

Marisor does not currently make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. We may use limited segmentation to make communications more relevant, for example according to subscription preferences, country, previous interactions or purchase history. Where required, this processing is subject to your consent and cookie preferences.

13. Children

Our website and products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable age of digital consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

14. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess it and notify the competent authority and affected individuals where required by law.

16. Business Changes

If Marisor is reorganised, sold, merged or transfers all or part of its business or assets, relevant personal data may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
